Booking and Planning
I personally specialise in private snowboard coaching. Ski lessons can be organised upon request with trusted, experienced ski instructors who occasionally teach under Bluebird Snowsports. These lessons are not available for online booking and must be arranged in advance, subject to instructor availability. Short-notice requests cannot usually be accommodated.
Book your lesson using the Book Now buttons on the website — half-day, full-day, and multi-day bookings can all be made online. For custom requests (different timeslots or another resort), contact me at info@bluebird-snowsports.ch or +41 76 276 85 48.
You can check my current availability on the about me page. During peak season (especially Christmas/New Year and February) I recommend booking early. Online bookings are possible until 19:00 the day before (subject to availability). Short-notice bookings can work too — just reach out and I’ll tell you what’s possible.
Online bookings are paid directly during checkout. Available options include credit card, TWINT, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Klarna. If you book extras (e.g., ticket support), you’ll receive a separate payment link with the same payment options.
You can cancel or reschedule free of charge until 17:00 the day before. The easiest way is to use the Guest Login button on the website to manage your booking — you can also use the link in your confirmation email. If needed, you can also cancel or reschedule in writing (email/message) via info@bluebird-snowsports.ch. If needed, you can also call +41 76 276 85 48. If you booked extras we purchased via third parties (e.g., lift passes/train tickets), refunds must be handled with the third-party provider.
Yes — lessons take place in most conditions as long as the resort is operating. If the resort is closed and we cancel the lesson, you are eligible for a full refund.
Lesson Setup
The base price includes 1 person. You can book as a private group of up to 5 people, with +30 CHF per additional person.
Not necessarily. I’ll adapt the lesson so everyone can benefit. If levels are far apart, we’ll choose terrain and a pace that suits the least experienced rider.
Yes — I teach kids and adults. There is no fixed minimum age, as long as parents feel their child is ready to learn a snowsport.
Lessons are available in English, German, and French.
Included: private snowboard coaching with one dedicated instructor, a plan adapted to your goals and the conditions, technique feedback, and practical support at the start of the day (for example with rentals).
Not included: lift passes, rental equipment, and train tickets/transport.
If we assist with rentals at the start, this counts toward the booked lesson time.
Location & Meeting
Unless we agree otherwise, we meet at Titlis Talstation (Gerschnistrasse 12, 6390 Engelberg).
Beginners usually start at Gerschnialp. Once you’re comfortable riding blue slopes, lessons usually move to the Titlis part of the resort. We may adapt the plan depending on conditions, lift operations, and your goals.
Yes — a different meeting point within the resort can be arranged. Just let me know in advance.
I recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early so we can start on time. I will meet you at the meeting point at the scheduled start time, and the lesson begins from there.
Engelberg is easy to reach by train (direct connection from Lucerne) or by car, with parking available at/near the Titlis valley station. Please check the latest timetable and prices on SBB.
Passes, Rentals & Gear
Lift passes can be bought via the Titlis webshop (prices can vary due to dynamic pricing). As a rule of thumb, beginners usually need a Gerschnialp ticket, and once you’re comfortable on blue slopes, a full Titlis resort ticket is recommended. Train tickets can be bought via SBB (app/website). If you’d like ticket support, I can organise tickets for you (paid via a payment link).
For snowboard rental gear, I recommend Boardlocal. If needed, I can also assist you at the start of the lesson with the rental process.
Bring your snowboard and boots, warm clothing and gloves, and goggles or sunglasses. A helmet isn’t mandatory, but it’s strongly recommended. Ideally, purchase your lift pass in advance.
