Basil is a fantastic snowboard instructor! I was looking for a snowboard instructor in Engelberg and came across Basil's website. Booking a snowboard course with him was incredibly easy. Basil is super friendly and professional at the same time. I was a complete beginner on a snowboard and made great progress after just three hours with Basil's help. He explained everything very clearly and showed me what I was already doing well, giving me tips on how to improve. He was very attentive and patient and answered all my questions. The snowboard course was a lot of fun. He even lent me his gloves because I had forgotten mine, which is really not something you can take for granted and for which I am extremely grateful (please don't forget your gloves!). Thanks to Basil's snowboard course, I can now go out on the slopes independently and snowboard with confidence. I can highly recommend Basil. The snowboard course was a blast. Thanks again, Basil!!

I’ve never skiied or snowboarded in my life and Basil was the perfect instructor!! He’s very patient, explains things very well and I felt 100% safe with him going straight to a blue run. He knows all there is to know and also took me down the hard parts hand in hand when I was feeling overwhelmed 😄 The video attached is me 1 hour in!

We booked a beginner's snowboarding lesson for our daughter at Bluebird Snowsports in Engelberg and were very satisfied. Booking online was quick and easy, and communication was pleasant and reliable, with prompt replies. The lesson was perfect for getting started with snowboarding. Basil explained everything calmly and clearly, remained patient, and adjusted the pace well to our daughter. She felt much more confident on the snowboard and really enjoyed it in the end. Amazing snowboarding lesson in Engelberg with Basel! I booked a 2-hour private session and it was the best coaching experiences I’ve had on the slopes. Basel quickly assessed my level and tailored the lesson perfectly to what I needed, helping me significantly improve my carving technique and overall control on the snowboard. He’s super friendly, professional, and explains things in a clear, easy-to-understand way. The whole session was fun, motivating, and super effective — you can tell he’s a very experienced and passionate instructor. Communication during the booking process was also excellent and very responsive. If you’re looking for a top-quality snowboard instructor I highly recommend Basel. We had such a fantastic experience with Basil at Bluebird in Engelberg! He taught my three kids over three days, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Communication was super easy from the very beginning. Basil helped us with everything — from booking tickets to guiding us up the mountain and giving clear, supportive instruction throughout. He’s incredibly skilled at reading kids and adjusting his teaching style to suit each child’s personality and level. He was patient, professional, quick to respond, and always kept great communication with me as a parent. My colleague said he could teach me to snowboard, but as it turned out, that wasn't the case. To avoid falling on my backside again, I decided to get a snowboard instructor. Basil was extremely patient and, with his support, quickly got me up to speed. After a few corrections and some runs, I was able to improve my skills enormously in just a few days. I would go back to Basil in a heartbeat; he's highly recommended! He takes the time and effort to adapt to each student's individual skill level.
